When can I return gifts?

You can ship your gifts to us as soon as you are ready! Returning gifts in person starts on November 30, 2024.

What is the last day to return gifts? 

Please return your gifts to us, either in person or having arrived via shipment, by December 14th, 2024.

How do I return my gifts? 

You can return gifts in two ways.  To ship gifts, please use the following address:

Should I wrap the gifts before returning them to The Giving Tree?

Please do not wrap gifts or write the child’s name on the gifts or gift cards as we use fictitious names. The child’s real name will be added prior to distribution.

Should I address the gifts to the name on the List I'm sponsoring? 

We are using fictitious names because foster children have rights related to confidentiality. The gift needs and requests of these children are real, and the child will receive the gifts you buy for them.  Please do make sure that the gifts you return note the List Number of the child you sponsored. 

I want to help but I'm not a shopper, what can I do? 

You don't have to be a shopper to support The Giving Tree and Mid-Missouri foster youth!  As an all-volunteer organization, all donations go directly to support local foster youth.  Donate today!
